Grant Hansen

Born and raised in North Jersey, Grant Hansen somehow avoided the big hair (but not the mullet), and never found the desire to buy a Camaro or Mustang. In fact, it wasn't until 2002 that he bought his first black leather jacket.

Throughout high school, Grant was an award-winning writer, so he decided to continue to develop his talents in college. He attended New York University in Manhattan for one year, but the calls from the other side of the Hudson grew too strong, so he transferred to The College of New Jersey (then known as Trenton State College). Close to, but not exactly, Princeton, but Grant still boasts about how great his profs were.

During college, Grant worked for Simon & Schuster as a proofreader, hoping to learn as much as he could about publishing. He had aspirations to be a book and page designer and learned as much as he could about design. Upon graduation, he had a number of job offers at NYC book publishing houses, and probably chose the worst one. But all experiences make us stronger, right?

Around that time Grant discovered this new thing called the Internet, and also discovered that Internet pages needed to be designed. The rest is history.

Grant's alter-ego plays a role as Operations Manager for Renegade Training International—a health, fitness, and lifestyle company. In order to stay in the best shape possible he does his best to keep up with workout partner (and CXD partner) Allie. Grant is also enrolled in a masters program for visual arts, as he believes the educational process should never end.
