Hans Kaspersetz is a first generation Jersian who didn't manage to escape the rather unfortunate Jersey hair trends of his youth. A tour through his photo albums reveals a plethora of bad hair including, but not limited to: big curly rock-star hair, a mullet, and a mohawk.

Bad hair aside, Hans spent some time working in Southern California where he held directorial and CTO positions at venture funded startups. Though the weather and geography of the area supported his mountain biking and mountain biking trials habit, it just wasn't Jersey. So after enjoying success during the dot com boom, Hans decided to return to Jersey and focus on building a company of his own.

Hans serves as CEO of Cyber X Designs LLC. He spends his time serving CXD's clients, writing PHP, consulting, performing system administration, and managing all things technical.

He is an active contributor to the open source community, serving as Board Member, New Project Coordinator, and Assistant Vice President Of Operations at New York PHP. He is an active contributor the the NY PHP Talk list and Joomla lists.

In 2005 Hans was invited to speak at the PHP Quebec International Conference. He spoke on the topic of Open Source and the health care industry. He has also spoken at the New York PHP monthly meeting.

Hans is currently serving a third term as a 1 year board memeber for the Property Owners Association of New Jersey. He is an active member of the POA and has published a handful of articles in the News & Views, a semi-monthly publication printed by the POA.

Hans has a passion for fixing things, including his '87 Mustang Convertible. Hans also enjoys SCUBA diving and trying to perfect his skills at underwater photography.

Hans has held positions at New York University Medical School, Your Beauty Network, Bern Communications, and Team Paradise.

Hans is currently on the boards of: AmeliaTek Inc., Relevant Times Inc, New York PHP, and Property Owners Association.
