The Pulaski Skyway: Built in 1932, the Pulaski Skyway brings Route 1 to New York City via the Holland Tunnel. Considered the first "Super Highway," it\'s called a skyway because it travels high in the air to avoid interfering with the Passaic River, the Hackensack River and the New Jersey Turnpike. Exit 17A.

Open Source Love: Sponsorship of Bootup NYC.

From the NJ Web Designers

Dec 06, 2009

Cyber X Designs loves the open source community! As a result we sponsor and participate in a number of regular events in New York City, one of which is Bootup. Bootup is the brainchild of Hans Zaunere, founder of NYPHP.org. It is a spinoff from the NYPHP user group and intends to put startups in front of engineers and business professionals to create a forum for analysis, the technical pitch, and team building across disciplines.

Bootup meets once a month and is organized around a limited number of pitches that run approximately 10-15 minutes. The discussions usually focus on the technical needs of the presenter and their businesses. The pitches are designed to solicit feedback from the technical community. This approach generates lively technical discussions from the vibrate audience.

Cyber X Designs sponsors the event because of our commitment to entrepreneurs and the technical community. We have been an active member of the NYPHP user group for many years with Hans Kaspersetz, Cyber X Designs’ President and Founder, serving as NYPHP Assistant Vice President of Operations. Additionally, Hans Kaspersetz is a veteran of more than 9 startups himself and enjoys working with early stage businesses. So, it was a natural fit when Bootup was started.

If you have an early stage startup and are seeking technical consulting or programming services, Cyber X Designs and Bootup might be a perfect fit for you. You can find Bootup at http://www.bootup.io and you can reach Cyber X Designs at 201-558-7929 or you can contact us.
